History
Allison Park’s longest-running law practice. Howard S. Auld & Associates has provided legal services to the North Pittsburgh area for over 73 years. First, as an individual proprietorship, Howard S. Auld, Sr. (1917-1992) practiced law in downtown Pittsburgh to represent Allison Park clients, to whom he dedicated weekend office hours. In 1961, Howard Sr. moved his practice to Duncan Avenue (pictured) as a more convenient location for local clients who did not wish to incur the time or expense to travel downtown. He then incorporated the law practice with his son, Howard S. Auld, Jr. as the law firm of Howard S. Auld & Associates, which has provided continuous counsel and legal representation from our North Pittsburgh offices for over 40 years.

Howard S. Auld, Jr.
Howard S. Auld, Jr. has represented businesses, families, and clients in north Pittsburgh since 1976. Always a steadfast and rooted advocate for his clients, Mr. Auld (“Pepper”) is known for his ability to see into the heart of a legal issue and develop creative solutions to preserve assets. Howard has successfully argued cases in local and state courts, keeping countless dollars in the pockets of families and out of the hands of tax collectors. Although Mr. Auld only taught English classes for two years, he has applied these educational gifts to instructing and advising clients about all avenues of the law in our office.
Mr. Auld is an experienced negotiator, mediator and legal representative for clients seeking assistance with estate administration, real property transfers, estate planning and assisting with all manners of family agreements and disagreements.
